Your files are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to any server.

Annotation Tools

Select a tool from the toolbar to start annotating.

Mode How It Works
Draw Use your mouse or finger to draw freehand.
Upload Upload an image of your signature (PNG, JPG, etc).
Type Type your name - it appears in an elegant cursive font.

Save as .scrawl (Editable)

Export as PDF (View-Only)

⚠️ The exported PDF is a final, flattened copy. Annotations cannot be edited after export. Use this for sharing view-only or printable copies.

FAQ

Q: Can I use this on my Chromebook?

Yes! PDFScrawl works on Chromebooks, Windows, Mac, and Linux - any modern browser.

Q: Is my data private?

Yes. 100%. We do not have a backend server. Your files never leave your device.

Q: Can I email my notes to someone?

Yes. Click the Email button and choose .scrawl to let them edit, or .pdf for a view-only copy.

Q: Can I export a PDF with annotations baked in?

Yes! Click the Export PDF button (page with ↓). The resulting PDF has all annotations flattened - ready to view, print, or share.
